Objectives

Contribute to improving human health by exploiting the potential biopharmaceutical research by

  • Promoting research and development in the field of pharmaceutical biotechnology in Europe,
  • Promoting interactions between academia, biotechnology and pharma companies, and regulatory bodies within the field of pharmaceutical biotechnology in Europe to support creativity, foster innovations and facilitate the commercialization of scientific findings,
  • Promoting appropriate education and training for students and employees in the field of pharmaceutical biotechnology and their harmonisation in Europe and
  • Participating in the creation of position papers and in the revision of guidelines within the European pharmaceutical biotechnology.
EAPB acts as the associated section of Pharma and Medical Biotechnology of the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB)
